This course was formerly known as Probability Modeling & Analysis (IMEN366). This course covers basic modeling tools to handle stochastic systems such as Markov Chains, Poisson processes, and Continuous-Time Markov Chains. The elementary queueing theory is also covered with a group project.

2. Offered: Fall 2014, Fall 2015, Fall 2016, Fall 2017

3. Prerequisites: IMEN272 Probability and Statistics for Engineers or equivalent

4. Textbook: Ross, S.M., Introduction to Probability Models

5. Reference: Kulkarni, V.G., Modeling, Analysis, Design and Control of Stochastic Systems
